1. According to Global Innovation Index (GII) 2018, China broke into the world's top 20 most-innovative economies. Switzerland has topped this list while India is at 57th place in the list. This annual ranking has been published by Cornell University, INSEAD and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

- वैश्विक नवाचार सूचकांक (जीआईआई) 2018 के अनुसार, चीन दुनिया के शीर्ष 20 सर्वाधिक नवोन्मेषी अर्थव्यवस्थाओं में शामिल हो गया है। स्विटजरलैंड इस सूची में शीर्ष स्थान पर है वहीं भारत 57वें स्थान पर है। यह सालाना रैकिंग कॉर्नेल विश्वविद्यालय, आईएनएसईएडी और विश्व बौद्धिक संपदा संगठन (डब्ल्यूआईपीओ) द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई।

2. Andhra Pradesh has topped the ease of doing annual business ranking of states and Union Territories by the World Bank and Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP). Telangana and Haryana are at the second and third positions, respectively in the rankings.

- औद्योगिक नीति एवं सवर्द्धन विभाग (डीआईपीपी) और विश्व बैंक द्वारा कारोबार सुगमता को लेकर सभी राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के बीच की गई रैंकिंग में आंध्र प्रदेश शीर्ष स्थान पर रहा है। तेलंगाना और हरियाणा इस रैंकिंग में क्रमश : दूसरे और तीसरे स्थान पर रहे।

3. The market capitalisation of the listed firms of Deepak Parekh-led financial services conglomerate HDFC group crossed Rs 10 lakh crore mark. It is only the second Indian business group to achieve this feat after Tata Group.

- दीपक पारेख के नेतृत्व वाले एचडीएफसी वित्तीय सेवा समूह की सूचीबद्ध कंपनियों का बाजार पूंजीकरण 10 लाख करोड़ रुपये के पार पहुंच गया। टाटा समूह के बाद यह दूसरा कंपनी समूह है जिसने इस आंकड़े को पार किया है।

4. US President Donald Trump nominated Foreign Service officer David Hale as the Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs. He is currently the US Ambassador to Pakistan.

- अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने विदेश सेवा अधिकारी डेविड हेल को विदेश मंत्रालय के तीसरे सबसे बड़े पद - अंडर सेक्रेटरी ऑफ स्टेट के लिए नामित किया है। वर्तमान में हेल पाकिस्तान में अमेरिका के राजदूत हैं।

5. Indian naval ship INS Sumitra became the first-ever warship to enter port of Sabang in Indonesia.

- भारतीय नौसेना का युद्धपोत आईएनएस सुमित्रा, इंडोनेशिया के साबांग बंदरगाह में प्रवेश करने वाला पहला युद्धपोत बन गया है।

6. The first "India Tourism Mart (ITM)" will be organized in New Delhi from 16th to 18th September 2018.

- पहले "भारत पर्यटन मार्ट (आईटीएम)" का आयोजन 16 से 18 सितंबर 2018 तक नई दिल्ली में किया जाएगा।

7. The Minister of State (I/C) MSME Giriraj Singh and Minister of SMEs and Start-ups of Republic of Korea, Hong Jong- hak, inaugurated the India-Korea Technology Exchange Centre in New Delhi.

- केंद्रीय एमएसएमई राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) गिरिराज सिंह तथा कोरिया गणराज्य के एसएमई व स्टार्टअप मंत्री होंग जोंग –हाक ने नई दिल्ली में भारत कोरिया प्रौद्योगिकी विनिमय केंद्र का उद्घाटन किया।

8. State-run telecom company BSNL has unveiled the country's first internet telephony service. Now BSNL customers will be able to make calls using the company's mobile app "Wings" to any phone number in the country.

- सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की दूरसंचार कंपनी बीएसएनएल ने देश की पहली इंटरनेट टेलीफोन सेवा शुरू की है। अब बीएसएनएल के ग्राहक कंपनी के ‘विंग्स’ मोबाइल एप से देशभर में किसी भी टेलीफोन नंबर पर कॉल कर सकेंगे।

9. According to property consultant CBRE, New Delhi’s Connaught Place has moved one position higher to become ninth most expensive office location in the world with an annual rent of $153 (Rs 10, 512 approx.) per sq. ft.

- प्रॉपर्टी सलाहकार सीबीआरई के एक सर्वेक्षण के अनुसार, दिल्ली का कनॉट प्लेस दुनिया में नौंवां सबसे महंगा कार्यालय स्थल बन गया है। यहां एक वर्गफुट क्षेत्रफल का औसत वार्षिक किराया 153 डॉलर (करीब 10,527 रुपये) तक पहुंच गया है।
